As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 241 people, 84 households, and 66 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,631.7 people per square mile (620.3/km²). There were 91 housing units at an average density of 616.1 per square mile (234.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.76% White, 0.41% from other races, and 0.83% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.07% of the population.

There were 84 households out of which 41.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.0% were married couples living together, 16.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.4% were non-families. 15.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.87 and the average family size was 3.11.

In the city the population was spread out with 35.3% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 31.5% from 25 to 44, 19.1% from 45 to 64, and 7.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 81.4 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $41,667, and the median income for a family was $46,250. Males had a median income of $32,321 versus $20,000 for females.
